This Privacy Policy explains how SitePuls handles data when you use our website and mobile applications (including the SitePuls app for iPhone and the SitePuls app for Android, where available). It covers account registration, monitoring data, team/company features, notifications, billing-related flows, and support communication.

1. Scope

This policy applies to SitePuls services provided through the web application and SitePuls mobile apps (iPhone and Android). By using SitePuls, you agree to this data handling approach together with our Terms of Service.

2. Data We Process

Account data: email, password hash, email confirmation status, preferred language, and profile fields you provide.
Company/team data: company name/type, membership and role data (such as OWNER, ADMIN, MEMBER), and invitations.
Monitoring data: monitor targets/settings, check results, uptime/downtime history, incidents, and status-page configuration.
Alert/contact data: email addresses, webhook URLs/secrets you configure, and Telegram integration identifiers needed to deliver notifications.
Billing-related data: selected plan, billing status fields, and checkout/redirect metadata required to complete purchases.
Technical usage data: service logs and request metadata needed for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and reliability.
Mobile push notifications (optional): if you enable push alerts on a supported device, we store the device token and related metadata needed to deliver notifications through the configured push provider.

3. Why We Process Data

To create and secure user accounts and authenticate users.
To run monitoring checks, detect incidents, and display monitoring results.
To send product notifications (email/Telegram), including incident and account-related messages.
To enable company/team access control and role-based visibility.
To process subscriptions and provide billing support.
To improve stability and protect SitePuls from abuse and unauthorized access.

5. Retention and Deletion

We keep data for as long as needed to provide SitePuls, maintain security/audit records, and meet legal obligations. Monitoring history and logs may be retained according to operational retention settings. You can request account/data deletion by contacting support.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their own credentials and devices.

7. Children

SitePuls is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and remove the data when appropriate.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of SitePuls after updates means the updated policy applies.

Cookies, sessions, and product analytics

Sessions and essential cookies: the signed-in web experience uses cookies (or similar browser storage) needed for authentication and security (for example login sessions and CSRF protection where enabled).

Marketing / product analytics (configuration-dependent): public marketing pages may, depending on server configuration, load privacy-oriented analytics (for example same-origin beacon events with sanitized fields, console-only logging in development, or third-party analytics such as GA4 or Plausible only when explicitly configured by the operator). We do not use those mechanisms to replace account authentication for monitoring features.

In-app purchases: when you subscribe through a mobile app store, payment is processed by the store provider; we receive the transaction information needed to activate your plan on SitePuls as described in the billing sections above.
